Doing Business With Cornell Companies

Cornell Companies seeks out companies of all sizes and capabilities from local and regional vendors, to those with a national reach. Working within our infrastructure, we rely on dedicated, competitive, world-class suppliers to provide value added solutions to establish the best value for Cornell Companies, our customers, our shareholders, and the communities we serve.

Award Wining Supplier Diversity

As a federal prime contractor, in June 2009, Cornell Companies was recognized by the Department of Justice for exceeding its women-owned small business goals for fiscal year 2008.

Supplier Diversity

Our values expand our capacity to help people and fuel company growth.

Supplier Diversity at Cornell is not a goal but a corporate commitment. At Cornell, we recognize the value of a diverse group of suppliers. The vision of the Cornell Supplier Diversity Program is to economically empower small and small disadvantaged businesses through the creation of wealth.

This is accomplished by affording maximum practicable opportunities to participate in all of our purchasing processes. We seek to identify suppliers in order to build mutually successful, long-lasting partnerships.

Of course diversity isn’t the only factor for supplier selection. When purchasing goods or services, our buyers must consider experience, quality, performance, and price.

Cornell Companies is proud to be a corporate member of:

  • The Houston Minority Supplier Development Council, NMSDC
  • The Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance, WBENC
